SENDING THE DEVICE
It is the customer’s responsibility to take all necessary measures to secure their device in the packaging during shipment. Mobiking declines all responsibility in the event of loss, theft or damage that may occur during the transport of the device to our workshop. It is strongly recommended to choose a shipping carrier with tracking and insurance.
THE DIAGNOSIS IS FREE
We will provide you with a free estimate. The only fees you would have to pay would be to pay to ship your device.
DO I HAVE TO PAY RETURN FEES TOO?
Return fees are free. We will send it back to you for free if you choose to repair. If you refuse to have the device repaired after our diagnosis, return costs of € 15 to € 30 apply. Free delivery applies exclusively to devices that we repair. For larger and heavier devices, additional shipping charges may apply.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DATA OR YOUR HARD DRIVE.
You agree that we are not responsible for any data on your device for any of our offered services . We are not responsible for the data. By signing this document, you agree that: hard drives are a mechanical and volatile storage medium that can malfunction at any time and that any hard drive malfunction cannot be attributed to Mobiking, nor can we be held responsible for any hard drive, SSD drive, SSD hybrid drive or flash memory malfunction on any machine in our possession. For data recovery, we’ll remove the parts of the drive that you might not receive if you don’t approve of the estimate. By signing this document, you agree that we are in no way responsible for your data.
The limited warranty of our service is 1 year. The warranty may be void for additional physical damage to the device, negligence, or liquid damage. The warranty is only for the specific part we replaced and not for any other issue or part on the device. You agree that any future problem with other functions of the device will be related to a previous shock, and not to our service. We only offer warranty service – no refunds, and any service that you change your mind or decide you don’t want to do, for whatever reason, requires the technician to cancel the repair work so that no sum is due to Mobiking. The warranty does NOT cover a device that has cracked again. A screen only cracks when it is physically impacted.
YOUR DEVICE WILL BE RECYCLED AFTER 60 DAYS IN CASE OF NON PAYMENT
Our estimate is free. If you have accepted a repair service, after agreeing to the terms, your device will be returned to you after payment has been made. If payment is withheld, the machine will be held until payment is issued. If payment is not made within 60 days of notification of the end of the repair, the laptop will be recycled under our e-waste management contract or resold. If you leave your device for a free estimate, you don’t owe us any money. However, if you do not collect your device within 60 days of the date the estimate is complete, the device will be recycled. Additionally, although the shop’s policy is to contact you after the repair is complete, it is your responsibility to check with us when the repair is complete. The 60 day rule starts from the moment we set into our internal notes that a repair job is ready to be picked up or paid for by the customer.
ACCEPTED METHODS OF PAYMENT.
The accepted payment methods are: VISA, MasterCard, Bancontact and iDeal via our online payment partner STRIPE. No other payment method is acceptable and we reserve the right to hold a device until payment is made through an acceptable payment method. We will send you an invoice which you can pay by one of the payment methods mentioned above.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR COSMETIC DEFECTS
The way we declare the condition of the item in the item notes before repair is a brief overview and does not denote all possible faults and problems with the device to be repaired. This can be changed as other issues are detected, even after signing the form. Pre-existing or future faults which arise as a result of pre-existing faults are not the responsibility of, or guaranteed by Mobiking. You agree by signing this document that how we report the condition of a device is how it was received and that no defect or problem we report has been caused by us. You acknowledge that Mobiking is not responsible for any faults or problems with any device unless we specifically take responsibility for such problem or defect. We are not responsible for any scratches, dents, etc. Most of the devices we receive are already badly damaged. We have very strict procedures on how we treat customers’ devices so that they leave in the same cosmetic condition or in a better condition that they arrived, but in no way can we be held responsible for perceived aesthetic problems.
